Kim Kardashian, the star counting 105 million Instagram followers, has launched her own beauty line, KKW Beauty. From what products to expect, to the prices and where you can buy them, here is everything you need to know about the up-coming beauty collection.

The reality TV star who made contouring a vital make-up technique, now taught in sell-out master classes, has also launched a hair product line, Kardashian Beauty Hair, for her fans who love to copy her looks. Kim Kardashian has now undeniably established herself as one of the most influential beauty gurus, dictating trends with a simple selfie or snapchat video. After collaborating with her sister’s brand, Kylie Cosmetics, creating four nude lip kits, it will come as no surprise that Kim launched her own make-up brand, KKW Beauty, on June 21, 2017. The original contouring and highlighter kits sold out within minutes, as did all the products that followed. Here is everything you need to know about the new beauty phenomenon, KKW Beauty.

The label was launched with a contouring kit, but just a few months later more and more special-edition kits populate the line.

How do you use the Creme Contour and Highlight Kit?

For those unacquainted with contouring as a make-up technique, Kim has posted her five-minute face tutorial using the kit. Admittedly, she does use several shades, but the video gives you plenty of tips for achieving a sculpted finish.

What is the Creme Contour and Highlight Kit?
While it might have been inevitable that Kim launched her beauty range with a contouring product, considering she brought the technique to the masses, the reality TV star has explained, “The reason I wanted to do cream contour first is that I’ve been wearing less make-up recently. I love to look bronzy and tanned.”

What does the packaging look like?

The KKW Beauty products all come in nude-colored packaging with stripped-back designs reminiscent of Kanye West’s Yeezy designs or even Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics products. The ‘KKW Beauty’ logo is embossed in capital letters onto all products, making for a simple, discrete and cool packaging look.

The perfumes, on the other hand, are more extravagant, held within crystal-shaped bottles.

Who shot the campaigns?

Kim Kardashian revealed the campaign pictures for her KKW Beauty line on her Instagram, and on October 26, she followed this up with the black and white photos for her KKW Fragrances, shot by Mert & Marcus.

On November 28, Kim posted the first campaign image for her Ultralight BeamsChristmas collection. Photographed by Marcelo Cantu, the campaign showcased a naked Kim Kardashian covered in sequins and sporting silvery-gray hair set against a sci-fi background.

In December 2017, Kim Kardashian launched a casting competition to find the new face of her KKW Beauty campaigns. Based in L.A., the casting called for girls aged 18 or older to send two bare-faced photos and their personal details to casting@kkwbeauty.com before the December 18 deadline.

What’s next for KKW Beauty?

In an interview with WWD, Kim confirmed that we can expect more from KKW Beauty and she’s not restricting it to make-up. “A lot of my stuff is going to be for skin… It’s going to be a different vibe; it’s not going to be a full colour cosmetics range with shadows and all of that to start.” So stay tuned for KKW Beauty skincare...

Kim Kardashian’s beauty products are exclusively available online at www.kkwbeauty.com. Just one of the three perfumes was sold for a limited time at the L.A. concept story The Violet Grey.
